This basket was born from an unexpected moment of stillness.

While traveling to Oppdal for the Fjell og Fårikål Festival, a powerful storm shut everything down—roads closed, electricity lost, and the festival canceled. Alone in a cold cabin, sitting by the fireplace with a glass of wine, a moment of deep calm appeared in the middle of the chaos. That feeling of peace became the heart of this basket.

The pattern of one of this basket was  inspired by a traditional Icelandic sweater, which  reflect warmth, protection, and the Nordic heritage. It blends function with storytelling, bringing comfort, beauty, and meaning into your home.

Handcrafted & Sustainable

Each basket is handwoven from sustainably sourced elephant grass (vete vere plant), locally harvested and tightly woven to create a strong, durable shape. The handles are carefully wrapped in goat leather, protecting the weave while providing a comfortable grip.

It takes 2–3 days to complete each basket, and every piece is made with care—celebrating craftsmanship, empowerment, and the preservation of traditional skills. Your purchase directly supports artisans, promotes financial stability, and encourages sustainable living.
