This basket has two types, same shape but different dimensions. One with Short handle and another with long handles.
Because our baskets are handmade, measurements may differ slightly from one basket to another. Expect small differences. Each piece is uniquely made just for you.

The Åstun Basket is a true example of traditional craftsmanship passed down through generations in the Upper East Region of Ghana.
Each basket is handwoven from the vetiver plant, also known as elephant grass, using a single-weave technique. The grass is tightly woven to create a sturdy, durable, and long-lasting form. The handles are carefully wrapped in goatskin leather, protecting the finishing ends while adding strength and comfort.

How to care for your basket
Avoid prolonged direct sunlight
